A Women's Prayer
Kim, Young-Chun
She prayed everey day;
Her God seemd to be nonchalant
And to prefer to warth;
She hoped to be exuberant;
She prayed every day prostrating herself
But her mind came to be empty;
She fell on her knees,
Believing that her God somtimes turned around,
Listened to her,
And finally came back to her;
She shed tears;
The tears made a river,
And the river was filled and flooded
For a long time;
Not until she reached the sea
Did she, to her surprise, knew
Her heart was full of her God;
She knew her God forgrave her every day;
She finally collected both hands
To the world;
It was not darkness but love
That ruled the woman.
